Phuket, Mangosteen Pool Villas – ESP Water and Wastewater Equipment

Water System

All Mangosteen Pool Villas will utilize raw water from either a deep well or from municipally supplied water sources.  This raw water will be pre-filtered using a multimedia pressure filtration system and chlorinated prior to delivery through the close loop pressurized HDPE pipeline to all MPV Villas.  Each individual Pool Villa will have its own 4,000 liter water storage tank.  Each individual pool villa’s pump will then pressurize the entire villas indoor taps going through a second stage filter to remove 100% of the chlorine along with many other possible contaminates, for crystal clear and bacteria free water through out the entire villa.  The pump used for this is a high grade Grundfos pump delivering western standard pressure and flow rates. 

In addition, each villa will have a high tech and compact undercounter Reverse Osmosis 5 stage filtration system in the kitchen.  This system will provide ultra pure water available through a kitchen sink second water tap and also piped to the automatic ice maker in the refrigerator.  This system can also be tapped to any other water using device individual owners may want like an espresso coffee maker.  Ultra Pure Water from this system can be used for vegetable washing, cooking, and drinking water. 

The villa piping utilized for both hot and cold water is Pimaflex Multipipe, which is a multi layered plastic with aluminum center high grade piping imported from Germany.  The pipework is the very best of quality available anywhere in the world and comes with a 50 year no leak limited warranty.

Wastewater System

Wanting to further enhance the already in place Mangosteen Spa and Resort environmental policies, the MPV’s will utilize a unique Wastewater Treatment System for total reuse of the villas wastewater for landscaping purposes.  This is accomplished via a dual anaerobic and aerobic wastewater treatment system by Premiere, one of Thailand’s leading edge wastewater system manufacturers. 

After initial treatment the wastewater is then collected into the landscape water tank and is further treated with ozone prior to being available for pressurized delivery through the separate landscape water piping system to several landscape taps around the villa.

Swimming Pool and Decorative Pond Equipment

Each individual MPV will have a state of the art water treatment system for the decorative pond and swimming pool.  This consists of a back washable sand filter and 2 HP pump.  The sand filter will have a mixture of various grades of sand and also Zelbrite a new swimming pool filtration media for exceptional filtration capabilities.  An Australian made salt water chlorinator system will also be installed for automatic chlorination, taking place at small quantities while the filter and pump are running.  This state of the art sanitizing system alleviates chlorine spikes from hand addition of chlorine and also allows for lower than normal chlorine levels, while keeping the water sparking clear.  

Both the swimming pool and the decorative reflecting pond will utilize LED lighting system with capabilities to adjust the amount of light available from bright to a very low and romantic light level.

Service and Preventative Maintenance

A comprehensive service package comes with all the above equipment to allow for un-interrupted use of all water systems with out the individual owners having to accomplish any maintenance.
